With the cold ruthless terrorists have targeted hospitals in Ahmedabad victims maximize Saturday. Two public hospitals - Hospital Civil Hospital and LG - with the exception of a private hospital run by VHP international general secretary Pravin Togadia - have been targeted, killing 18 people.
The explosions were triggered by timer devices to coincide with the rush of victims of other senior sites. Two explosions at the civil hospital at 7.55 pm and 8.02 pm near the trauma centre killed at least 15 people, two of whom are doctors and a medical student. The first explosion took place in an ambulance in the parking lot, while another, planted on a bicycle, was released shortly afterwards.
The intensity of the explosion was so powerful that a person's body was launched almost 50 meters from the spot while another victim in the leg was found about 100 metres.
Windows on the second floor of the building and windshields of parked cars about 100 metres were also broken. Patients neighborhoods near the largest public hospital in Gujarat jumped from their beds and ran for safety.
The explosion at the hospital LG came out in a car parked near the emergency area and killed at least three. When the explosion shook the hospital at 7.45 hours, streaming others injured in blast sites were treated only a few metres. Windows and glasses in the hall of the parking area have been washed away.
Paniquer parents moved their parents wounded to hospital. Sources said that the car had been parked there for days.
According to sources on NDTV, now its over 16 explosions in the city of Ahmedabad which was 10 killed and over 100 injured. The scene is very chaotic at the moment in many areas in Ahmedabad with police trying to shoo away the people with power. It is for the population as one never knows how many blasts were planned.
Veerappa Moily just now made a statement taking these explosions, which brings together the cases of beatings and should not be politicized.
Lal Krishan Advani said political angle has not yet been examined… but later on the agencies can look at this angle.
These statements are the result of the BJP led governments in cities where the explosions took place. Agencies such as the SIMI etc. are now under scanner.
