Carrie Underwood  wins ACM entertainer of the year 2009- Carrie Underwood bacame theh first act to win entertainer of the year at the Acedamy of Country Music Awards since the Dixie Chicks it back in 2000. The entertainer of the year trophy is the highest honor at the ACM Awards.
