The state government of New South Wales, Australia is owner of an operating division of RailCorp, CityRail. In and around the three largest cities of New South Wales such as Sydney, Newcastle and Wollongong, it provides commuter, 'intercity' and regional rail services, and some coach services. CityRail network's construction was started on 3 July 1850 and now it is consisting of 305 stations and over 2,060 km of track, extending to the upper Hunter Valley and the Shoalhaven area. A "product group" of Rail Corporation New South Wales (Railcorp) was established in 1988 around 1990 under the Transport Administration Act (NSW). Approximately 1,000,000 on weekdays, 400,000 on Saturdays and 300,000 on Sundays are its daily ridership.

To plan your trip with CityRail Trip planner, you have to click on trip planner option, which is situated at the home page's center. For planning your trip, you have to tick on address, station, bus stop or wharf, and place of interest/school, if you have tickmarked on address then you have to enter street number & name and suburb or town in both from and to options respectively. Then enter the day and date of leaving and arriving. Then click on view trip option.

For advance search, you have to tick mark on transport mode such as regular buses, trains, ferries, and STA school bus, then tick on walk speed such as slow, normal, and fast then click on trip preferences such as Shortest travel time, Trips with the least service changes, and Trips with the least walking and then click on go option.

Search Train Timetable:

If you want to know about timetable of trains at www.cityrail.info then you have to select a line, which is on my station then select a direction, tick on leave after or arrive before date and time then click on view timetable option.
