For qualified customers with Expanded Basic, Comcast will provide with an existing digital set top box up to 2 digital adapters at no additional monthly service cost and the costumers who does not have an existing digital set-top box can receive 1 standard digital set top box and up to 2 digital adapters at no additional monthly service charge. Customer with Limited Basic cable can get up to three digital adapters at no additional monthly service charge, in selected markets.

To order online simply Open Comcast.com/digitalnow, in a standard web browser where you can see the “Let’s Get Started” guide, enter your Unique ID and Account Number in the right side box, and then click on ‘Start’ button to continue the process. You need to give right answer for 2 simple questions in the next page that will open to you, then choose the new equipment for your TV sets and decide the way of delivery to your new devices (by mail or in person).

Comcast Digital Now Activation & Install User Guide

The Comcast customers will need to install Digital Transport Adaptor to access a majority of their channels in to television screen. You need a Cable box, cable tuner card, or digital adapter to be able only plug a cable in to the back of your old TV and watch stations.

Following things are included in the Digital Transport Adaptor (DTA) install kit

  • Remote Control
  • 2 AA Batteries
  • Remote Control Signal Receiver
  • 3-Foot Coax Cable
  • Power Cord
  • Adhesive Fasteners

You can connect the DTA to the cable wall outlet and to your TV or TV and VCR both. Your TV will need to be connected either Comcast DTA or a Comcast Digital Cable Box not use both in combined.

1. Connect the DTA to the Cable Outlet:-

First locate the cable that currently runs from the cable wall outlet from the back of your TV and then leave one end of the cable connected to the wall, but disconnect the other end from the back of your TV and reconnected this end of the cable to the “Cable In” input on the back of the Digital Transport Adaptor (DTA).

2. Connect the DTA to the TV:-

You can use the 3-foot coax cable that included in install kit, to connect the "To TV" of Digital Transport Adaptor to your VCR or television screen. The one end of coax cable connects to the “To TV” input on the back of the DTA and other end to the “Cable In/RF In” input on the back of your TV.

3. Power Up:-

Now The round end of the power cord plug into the “Power” input on the back of the DTA and the other end into a live power outlet or surge protector.

4. Channel Setting:-

Turn on your TV by using your television remote and tune it to channel 3. To channel 3, set the switch on the back of the DTA. The country’s some part use channel 4. If you don't get any picture after activation, then try to switch both your TV and the DTA to channel 4.

5. Activation:-

You should connect your entire Comcast device if you have one or more, before activating. “To complete your activation you will need your account information and the serial number of each device you are activating. You may have written this information down”

6. Service Confirmation:-

Take rest for few minute after completing all step and ensure your TV is on and the DTA is connected to the power outlet, light is solid on the front (not blinking). 7.Remote Control Setup Receiver:-

If you not have your Digital Transport Adaptor from the front of the television screen, then use the Remote Control Setup Receiver that included in the install kit to operate your DTA. Connect Remote Control Setup Receiver to the "IR IN" of the Digital Transport Adaptor and then attach the antenna on the front of the television screen.
