Bharat Verma Indian Defence Review : China may Attack India in 2012

"China May attack on India by 2012 due to various causes, and showing the Chinese hegemony in Asia could be the major reason for war," said Bharat Verma, editor of the Indian Defense Review. 

A leading defense authority have predicted that China would attack India in 2012 to deflect attention from its own people from the "unprecedented" internal dissension, growing unemployment and economic problems that are threatening the hold of Communists in that country. Depletion of foreign exchange reserve, rising internal dispute, fight of capital worth billion of dollars are also the reasons for the assessment.

Moreover the best three worries for waging the war against the soft goal Pacifist India are:

1. U.S. President Barack Obama Pak-Afghan policy which has "smart set thief to catch thief," and led to a growing irrelevance of Pakistan, which eventually increase the Chinese disorientation.

3. India's growing alliance with the United States and the West are causing China's whimper.

But Verma puts a series of questions about India's response to rejection the Chinese game plan.

Verma opined Pacifist India is not ready yet to go for the long shot either on internal or external front which puts all Indians in threat.
