Keshia Knight Pulliam was born April 9, 1979 in Newark, New Jersey, U.S.A. She is an American actress. She is daughter of Denise and James Pulliam Sr, and her brother name James Pulliam Jr. She graduated from Spelman College with a degree in Sociology in 2001. She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc.

Keshia Knight Pulliam started her career at age three on the PBS show Sesame Street. She is best known of her role 'The Cosby Show' as Rudy Huxtable on the NBC sitcom in 2001. She is first yongest actress ever to be nominated for an Emmy Awards at age six for best supporting actress on the Cosby Show. She branched out in to TV-movies, appearing as "The Little Match Girl" and she is also played the title role in "Polly" from the 1960 Disney film "Pollyanna".
