Kris Allen National Anthem at NBA Finals Performamce video

American Idol Winner Kris Allen sang the national anthem song "Star Spangled Banner" before game 2 of the NBA finals on last night. It was one of the biggest competitions of the year.

During his "Star Spangled Banner" performance, Kris joined the basketball players of both team the Lakers and Magics. Both teams wore their jersey outfits, the Magics in blue and the Lakers in white as Kris shown with all-black clothes.

This is not the first time that the NBA hire Idol alum to sing at their event but since 2004 Kelly Clarkson, Ruben Studdard, David Cook, Taylor Hicks, Carrie Underwood and Jordin Sparks all have sung at the game. Kris is the latest in a long line of Idol champs to sing the national anthem during the NBA finals.

The host included stars Leonardo DiCaprioJack Nicholson, Rihanna, Mark Wahlberg, Zac Efron, Diddy, and Adam Levine. NBA game three finals will be air on Tonight at 9 p.m. on ABC.
