
Don’t feel surprise if you see a large iceberg with polar bear and its cub in Thames river in London. It is a 16 foot high sculpture floating on the River Thames today to mark the launch of “Eden”, a new natural history TV channel.

It was created by A team of 15 artists, and with hard work of two months. This 100% recyclable structure is 20 foot x 20 foot and weighing three thousand pound. The sculpture traveled 7.5 miles From the Greenwich to Tower Bridge and the Houses of Parliament for a photo shoot.

Sir David Attenborough said: “The melting of the polar bears’ sea ice habitat is one of the most pressing environmental concerns of our time. I commend Eden for highlighting the issue; we need to do what we can to protect the world’s largest land carnivores from extinction.”
The event is closely related with the Eden Channel's Fragile Earth series, created by Sir David Attenborough.
