Reliance BIG TV Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Reliance Communications Ltd., announced Wednesday the launch of India the first subscription video on demand services DTH television BIG. BIG TV customers can watch 600 new films each year, virtually all aircraft converted into a screen 32, 24x7 fully with multiplex digital picture and sound experience.

Big tv is really a fraud case. I took a subscription of 4990 and i came to know 2490 pack is active for me after 3 months. After many complaints, they close the complaints without any relevant information. Reliance started big TV to cheat people after reliance mobile. Nobody has responsibility towards customers in Reliance. Please don't go for Big TV.

12months subsciption to 6 months and channels from 125 to 95 in
south package.In near future he will reduce to 3 months. very worst brand name is reliance. when oil prices are high he shutted down the petrol bunks. now he is planning to re-open because crude oil rate is low. He is worst fellow. TATA is the best company in india..

I dont know about others but big tv is really worth for me. am using it since 1 month and i have no issues with it. even its customer care is pretty helpful in this area (santacruz, mumbai) my package (max 4990)has all the channels that they are providing as well as they have added some new channels to this package. and now i am waiting for colours to come. 4/5 to BIG TV.

Hi,

I took big TV on 2nd of Oct, 2008.

I used it for 2 hours and than I got No signal message so I switched it off.

I restarted it on next day and I was not getting any thing except black and white dots.

I raised the complaints for same and was given time frame of 48 hours. Now 72 hours have expired and nobody has got back to us.

This is real pain. What type of customer service is this? We have been calling customer care and they just tell us your problem will be solved without any time frame.

This is my last attempt to get my problem solved otherwise and I am going to get into media and customer forums.

As you can see from my mail Id I am a software guy and one single mail to thousands of friends can see to market strength of Big TV.

This is no threat but just one way to get my problem solved as I am bugged big time. Same problem happen with reliance data card and same problem I am facing now.

Big TV is BIG for me now....
I have booked my big Tv 2nd September and called their customer care for installation. After making 3-4 calls and delay in installation I got frustrated about the installation and hearing same and same excuses. I was really feeling awful and then I contacted their head person and explaind my problem as many of us heaving same problem, after hearing each and every words from my side they told me the reasons behind it and also assure me that my installation will be done soon. Even he was saying that they are hiring and training more and more engineers to reach more installation calls.

After 2 days of my call their person came for installation and explained the whole functions and features, that guy was really well trained. It tool nearly 5 days for installation and now after using Big tv for whole one week it inspired me to write about big tv. I don’t have any issues now and I am happy with MPEG 4 picture and good number of channel (smart 3990) and I hope they are improving their man power to serve more.

I have purchased BIG TV on 1-SEP and since i have been calling the BIG TV Customer service every day. I am listing the most common answers that they give. ( Apart from waiting for in the que over the phone and also waiting while the customer service representative retrieve the customers data..for over 15 minutes ).

TILL NOW INSTALLATION IS NOT DONE.

Hi Readers,

I just wanted to share my worst experience with "Reliance BIG TV" DTH Service.
First of all I request everybody not to purchase "Reliance BIG TV" connection.

Well, to start with I have taken BIG TV "Set Top Box" on 31/Aug/2008 "Invoice No. 0101038073" from one of the Main Web World, Mehdipatnam Branch (Hyderabad).
I think initially as a company while selling the product, web world person has to inform me about all the future requirements from my side, but they have not given any kind of information.
Actually, one Work Order ID is required in order to have installation for BIG TV, that we can get after calling customer care of BIG TV.
But because they have not informed me that I hvae to call Customre care, it was delayed for 2 days, and by chance I called c.care for some other reason on 02/Sep/2008 and got my work order ID.
Even after having my work order ID, I have not recieved any call from the Installation team for Installation, I raised complaint for the same also for so many times, but none of any use.

Almost everyday for more than 1.5 hours I was calling c.care for any kind of solution and spoke to around more than 12 c.care representatives, to name some of them are :- Sheetal, Usha, Bhaven, Ganesh, Priya and so on and escalated the same issue to some of the senior members as well they are:- Rahul and Bhuvneshwari.
Everybody was saying the same thing repeatedly "we are sorry for the inconvinience caused, it will be done asap......etc.....".

Till today, i.e. 12/SEP/2008 more than 12 days after purcahse of STB, I am still waiting for the installation.....??? and still have no update....

One more intersting thing, I called c.care to ask "is it possible to return the STB because of bad services", the representative straight forward answered "just go to the web world and return back the STB, they will refund the money", they people are not even concerned about the problem and reason why I asked to return it back.

Finally, I request everybody again PLZ PLZ PLZ never go for "Reliance BIG TV", only name is BIG, everything else is small.

I can say this is one of the worst out of the worst company/service that I have ever seen.

I am more than 100% dissatisfied with the services/customer support that has been provided by Reliance BIG TV group. (sorry, actually there is no service from customer care end at all.)
