36 year old Resul Pokutty is created history. Resul Pokutty is the first Indian towon the Oscar for best sound mixing for the critically acclaimed film "Slumdog Millionaire". Resul Pokutty shared the Oscar the "Slumdog Millionaire" director British filmmaker Danny Boyle. Resul Pokutty was lived in mumbai with his wife and two young children.

Resul Pokutty's first break in bollywood 2005 film "Black". Resul Pokutty engineered sound for productions like "Musafir" (2004), "Zinda" (2006), "Traffic Signal" (2007), "Gandhi, My Father" (2007), "Saawariya" (2007) and "Dus Kahaniyaan" (2007). He also designed sound for the 2008 blockbuster "Ghajini".
