Slumdog Millionaire Gets Oscar for Best Film

'Slumdog Millionaire' prevailed for 81 Academy Awards on Sunday 22 in February 2009 in the Kodak Theater in Hollywood, with 8 Oscars from 10 nominations.

Slumdog Millionaire, which had bagged the 2009 Golden Globes for Best Picture-Drama, Best Director, Best Original Score, continues its dream run with ten nominations for 2009 Oscar awards.

Golden Globe winner Slumdog Millionaire is the movie people will say that the best picture Oscar this Sunday.

Mumbai-set drama has already won seven BAFTA and four Golden Globes and is a favorite to claim the top prize at this year's Academy Awards.
