Zooey Claire Deschanel is an American actress, musician and singer-songwriter.People magazine reports that the 28-year-old actress is engaged to lead singer Ben Gibbard from Death Cab for Cutie. Gibbard presented a three-carat diamond and platinum Neil Lane ring to his new fiancée, Zooey Claire Deschanel . 
Deschanel is currently starring in the film, Yes Man, with actor Jim Carrey. Also, in March of 2008, she released her first album, Volume One, with her band. Deschanel became engaged to Ben Gibbard of Death Cab For Cutie in 20th December 2008. However no date has been set as when the two will marry, but it will be the first marriage for both of them.
