GATE is a Graduate Aptitude Test in Engeenring. Graduate safety test in engineering (GATE) is an all-India examination administered and conducted jointly by Indian Institute of Science and seven Indian Institutes of Technology on behalf of the national coordinating board.

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) Qualification

Access to post-graduate programs with MHRD and some other government scholarship assistant shipment of engineering colleges, institutes of the country is open for those who qualify through the Gate. To use the scholarship, the candidate must secure access to a Post Graduate program per the current procedure for the admission procedure institution.

GATE qualified candidates with a BS in engineering, architecture, technology, mathematics, Pharmacy or Master's degree in any branch of science, statistics, computer applications, are eligible for Masters, PhD programs in engineering, pharmacy and PhD programs in the relevant branches of Science.
