As Hannah Montana's popularity begins to take over her life, Miley Stewart, at the request of her father takes a trip to her hometown of Crowley Corners, Tennessee to get some perspective on what's important in life most.

The film begins when they hit Disney Channel TV limp. Miley Cyrus is Miley Stewart, who is trying to preserve her secret identity while traveling across the world as a super-famous Hannah Montana. As the story begins, Miley Stewart is torn between her two worlds. On the one hand, she is struggling with the requirement to be a normal teenager that Miley - the indignities of gym class, it will be for her friends. On the other hand, she claims juggler fame as Hannah Montana, Pop Superstar and youth porn sensation.
Miley Stewart is the constant touring, doing a photo ops at the stores and avoid a combative paparazzo out to uncover her secret. Afraid she will also be packed in a world of show business, Miley's father Shanghais surprise her on a trip to their hometown downward. It is where Miley will learn the correct relation between family, love and fame. Oh, and create hoedown throw down.
