“Daddy Cool” Malayalam Movie Review | Trailer

Malayalam Movie “Daddy Cool” has been released just before few days. This movie is about the life of a police officer, his wife and their small son.

In Daddy Cool movie, the role of a police officer is played by Malayalam superstar Mammootty (Antony Simon) who is very fond of his six-year-old son played by Master Dhananjay (Aadi) and loves to spend time with his son and fan of cricket, rather than to do work and his duties.

Daddy Cool Malayalam Movie Story

Antony Simon, who is a police officer of crime branch is much attached to his son Aadi. Antony is very lazy and cricket fan so he spend time watching cricket on Television. More than a father, he is a friend of his son. His wife Annie (Richa Pallod) cannot tolerate his lazy approach towards life.

The first part of the movie shows the relationship between the son and his dad and how it creates problems in his career. Antony fails to arrest a big criminal Bhim Bhai, played by Ashish Vidyarthi because of his laziness.

After wards, Antony realized his mistake and capture criminal. The later part deals with how his career affects family.

Biju Menon, Radhika, Vijayaraghavan, Saikumar, Baburaj plays a minor role in the movie.

The movie's screenplay by the director himself seems (inspired from films like ''Breakup'') and the dialogues by Bipinchandran are quite average.

Mammootty is handsome as always. Have a look at it once, at least for its technical brilliance and different narrative patterns. This is a film you can go with your family. The film will be a treat for kids.
