The film starts with three friends John Abraham, Neil Nitin Mukesh and sexy Katrina Kaif with the lead roles and with other friends and terrorism. It is the interesting story of three friends living a carefree life in the city of New York. The terrible terrorist attack on the world trade center on 9/11 is the dreadful twist of the story. These events are changed the life of three friends. Irfan Khan comes in the movie as a crime investigator. In the investigation they have to face many unfair realities and the atmosphere is changed and disrupt.
The movie is track written by Sandeep Shrivastava and is beautifully sung by K.K. The song 'Hai Junoon' is about living life and is popular among youngsters as K.K. has sung it nicely. The other song 'Mera Sung' is sung by Sunidhi Chauhan, it is about true friends together. Both the songs are remixing in western instruments with Indian music.
The other sad song which is a failure in love 'Tune Jo Na Kaha' by Mohit Chauhan and then a Sufi song 'Aye Saaye Mere' sung by Pankaj Awasthi. At last there is an instrumental theme based on title 'New York'.
