The Courageous Heart of Irena Sendler Movie Story

The Courageous Heart of Irena Sendler Movie Story based on the 2005 authorized biography, “Mother of the Children of the Holocaust. This is a “must see” movie that tells the story of one woman’s courage, determination and self -sacrifice to ensure the safety of 2500 Jewish children from extermination by the hands of the Nazis during World War II.

Irena Sendler (Anna Paquin) is a social worker for the city of Warsaw, Poland, in 1941. She freely comes and goes between the city and the ghetto that the Nazis have established for local Jews, bringing clothes and food to friends who have been quarantined by the Germans. Paquin is competent in the role and credibility in their charity, but she is not given much to work with. Her compassion here is only one force in nature, and although her story policymakers commendable, it is not always make the film watch able.

In 1943, the Nazis discovered Sendler's courageous and dangerous Ruse and arrested her. She was tortured by Gestapo agents and a little bit broken foot. she was rescued by "Zegota" underground network that she worked to save Jewish children. As a result, Sendler's efforts, about 2,500 children were smuggled to safety.
