“The Taking of Pelham 123” is a remake of the film released in 1974, “The Taking of Pelham One Two Three”. This new film has been given a highly stylish look by the director Tony Scott. There are several things that make interesting the audience about the story.

The main characters are John Travolta and Denzel Washington in this new movie. In the story, a group of men hijack a New York City subway train in order to get millions of dollars from the city. John Travolta plays the role of “Ryder” who is the main leader of the train hijacking. Denzel Washington plays the role of “Walter Garber” who is very calm sender at the rail control center of the NYC subway and he is on the duty at the time of the train hijacking.

Ryder gives one hour to the city to send him $10 million or he will start doing murder of people in the train. The Garber first did not understand what the Ryder and his gang wanted from the city. Afterward in a very short time they took the matter seriously about the Ryder and his gang. The mayor of the city James Gandolfini decides to give the money to Ryder. There are several other characters in the movie that makes the tense moments for the audience. Tony Scott keeps you guessing about the role of other characters. Watch this movie once as it gives enjoyment and you will not feel boring as the story is very interesting and there are many turning points in it.
