The Apprentice UK Series 5 Episode 4: A Soap Opera

Sir Alan Sugar has four weeks into his search for an apprentice, and he challenges the teams to set up their own cosmetics business. Yasmira, Debra, and Paula move to Empire. Howard and Kimberly move to Ignite. For Ignite Nooral is appointed as project manager, and for Empire Paula is appointed as project manager. They have just a few days to make and sell two new bath and beauty products. Sir Alan tess that profit margins are massive and they should be able to keep their costs down. The teams are allowed to choose between honey, seaweed, berries, nettles. apples and pears.

Paula's Half team will be going out on a boat to peak seaweed. The ingredients are all individually priced at the laboratory. They will make their products stand out from the competition bu using of natural ingredients. But it is not possible for both teams have worked themselves into a lather because of complicated recipes and creative decisions to be made. Nick and Margaret are there to keep a watchful eye on proceedings. And Sir Alan things quickly in the boardroom that which team smells like success and which has the whiff of defeat. Empire made a loss of £68 because of over spent on the fragrances. For the final three showdown team leader Paula brings Ben and Yasmina back into the boardroom. A furious Ben bites back at accusations that he's to blame. Sir Alan hears the fatal words, 'you're fired!', and he is not convinced by Paula's excuses.
