The 2009 FIFA Confederations Cup will be 8th Confederations Cup, and will be held from 14th June to 28th June 2009. The FIFA Confederations Cup 2009 is coming to South Africa as a prelude to the 2010 Soccer World Cup. The aperture and final match of Confederations Cup 2009 will be played at Coca-Cola Park in Johannesburg.
The draw for the contest was detained on 22nd November 2008 at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg. They are dividing into two groups, in Group A: Iraq, South Africa, Spain, New Zealand and Group B: USA, Brazil, Italy, Egypt.

But I dont think there would be much of contest .. Brazil are the true favorites to win this cup. For others it would be just match practice.
