2010 Cadillac SRX Review

The 2010 Cadillac SRX will be offered with a choice of two V6 engines. The entry level 3.0L V6 direct injection making a total of 260 hp and 221 lb-ft of torque. The range-topper 2.8L V6 turbocharged V6 may be 300 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque. Both engines will be mated with a 6-speed automatic transmission. No official fuel economy figures have been released yet, but GM says the 2010 SRX should offer mid-20s on the highway.

The 2010 Cadillac SRX can draw up to 3500 pounds, comes with 18-inch wheels as standard with 20-inch wheels offered as an alternative, a "pop-up navigation screen with 3D imaging, adaptive headlamps that sync with the vehicle control; power lift gate with adjustable height adjustment, integrated hard disc drive for audio storage, together with a dual-screen rear entertainment system, Bluetooth, and OnStar turn-by-turn navigation service for buyers who do not choose your car's navigation system option.

SRX's security concept is designed to protect passengers before, during and after a crash. A strong body and chassis to absorb crash energy is complemented by the use of martensitic steel in the fully closed Rocker section.

Additional security features include standard head curtain side air bags, standard front seat-mounted pelvic / thorax side airbags, front seat belts with dual pretensioners and load devices, rollover mitigation sensors, a pedal release system, trailer stability assist and OnStar.

The SRX also receive a similar pop-up menu navigation to the device in the new CTS. Like the CTS-V, the SRX, an electronic parking brake that is activated with a switch on the console to the left of the shift lever.

2010 Cadillac SRX Price

The SRX begins production in Ramos Arizpe, Mexico, in Q2 2009, and hits the showroom floor immediately after and prices can start at $ 30,000.
