Semaphore Message: It releases DLMS protocol for opening the meter applications in SCADA product line

A CSE Global company named as “Semaphore” is newly introduced the IEC 62056-21 Device Language Message Specification (DLMS) protocol for opening the meter applications in SCADA system products. This protocol is prepared with a 32-bit CPU and it is presented with T-BOX MS Modular System.

DLMS is adopted by the Open Meter association and it is assumed that OPEN meter project will contribute to the European Union energy efficiency targets and it helps to decrease the secretion by 20% till 2020 year. DLMS has been chosen by the IEC TC13 WG14 into the IEC 62056 series of standards. In the past days IEC 62056-21 was known as IEC 61107.

The transport and application layers of the DLMS protocol are defined by the Companion Specification for Energy Metering (COSEM). The mixture of IEC 62056-21 protocol and T-Box is related to open metering communications in systems such as Smart Grids. T-Box is the first IP-based solution that allows the combination of SCADA control and communications functionality in one rough package.
