New Virgin Mobile: Broadband2Go 3G Internet Service
On 10th June, 2009, it was announced about the commencement of the New Virgin Mobile Broadband2Go, 3G wireless Internet service in all the country of the world. It gives the facility of free activation, no roaming charges, monthly subscription and no annual contract. The popularity of prepaid cell phone service of the company will expand due to this launching of Virgin Mobile USA.
Best Buy Mobile is offering first prepaid broadband product "The Broadband2Go". It will be available for just $149.99 in June at Best Buy Mobile. The MC760 Broadband2Go device is the world’s smallest EV-DO coverage. It is just 2 inches long and has less weight. It can work with any laptop, tablet PC or desktop running Windows. This device is very small but it includes micro SD window which has faultless storage of 16 GB of files, videos and photos. The SD storage card is sold separately also.
The activation of Broadband2Go is simple just like Virgin Mobile USA's mobile phone service and megabytes can be added with Virgin Mobile Top-Up cards and debit or credit card whenever it is needed. By the pay-as-you-go model, Top-Up cards can be used to purchase data usage from 100MB to 1 gigabyte. The customers can purchase 250MB Top-Up card for $20 and it has validity of 30 days. Any Top-up card can be used for other data plans which are available at $10, $40 and $60.
The Pre-paid 3G service of Virgin Mobile just announced the customers for a free internet option. The Novatel MC760 USB will be available at Best Buy for $150 with fixed data rates of $10 for 100MB, $20 for 250MB, $40 for 600MB and $60 for 1GB. All the data have the validity of 30 days except $10, it will have 10 days validity.
The sales of the mobile broadband 2Go cards increased 60% from 2007 to 2008, according to the market research. The sales of the card was at the top in 2008 of $4.1 billion nationwide .IDC tells that till 2012,3G mobile broadband market will grow to $10.4 billion.
